We had this at Thanksgiving on our turkey, the first time I ever made it instead of having it from a can. It was easy to make and it tasted much better. I'll admit, I went to make it Thanksgiving morning, and realized I had no orange juice, and I didn't want to go to the store. I did had a Dole juice blend: orange, peach, mango. I think this made it taste even better! Rebecca Dorrough
1 cup white sugar 1 cup orange juice (or try a juice blend!) 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries Directions: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the suage in the orange juice. Stir in the cranberries, and cook until they start to pop (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat, and transfer to a bowl. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. |
