Lemonade


Make your own lemonade! It's both fun and delicious!

.5 cup sugar
.5 cup brown sugar (you can do all normal sugar if you want)
1 cup water

2 cups lemon juice
5-6 cups water

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar(s) and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved; let cool. In a pitcher, combine the syrup with the lemon juice and 5 to 6 cups water.

Pina Colada

Ingredients:
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup crushed pineapple
2 cup coconut milk (canned or fresh)
juice from one lime
ice to top of blender

or a simpler version...

7 oz pineapple juice
2 oz coconut cream
1 cup crushed ice

Directions:
Blend ingredients until ice is slushy. Pour into frosted glasses and enjoy immediately.

Orange Freeze (Hard Rock Cafe)

2 cups orange sherbet or sorbet
1 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 c. milk
1 sprig of fresh spearmint

Directions:
Put the sherbet, juice and milk in a blender and blend for 15 seconds or just until all the sherbet is smooth. You may have to stop the blender and stir the sherbet up a bit to help it combine. Pour the orange freeze into a tall, chilled glass. Place a sprig of fresh spearmint on the top and serve immediately. (This is also good with a little whipped cream on top!)

Cucumber Limeade

3 cans limeade concentrate
crystal light lemonade powder ( 2 quart package)
1 liter sugar free sprite, 7-up
2 quarts water
1 cucumber, cut into slices, leave skin on
3 limes, cut into slices
1/2 bag ice

Strawberry Lemonade

1 12-oz can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 1//2 cups frozen whole strawberries
6 cups water

Directions:
Place lemonade concentrate, strawberries and about 1 1/2 cup water in a blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into a 4-qt pitcher, add the remaining 4 1/2 cups water and stir.
