Pumpkin Waffles

These are really good. Everyone in my family likes them!

Mix Together:
2 cup flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. ground coriander
¼ tsp. salt

Add:
4 egg yolks
1 c. pumpkin
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 ½ cup milk
¾ cup margarine melted

Beat 4 egg whites till stiff peaks and fold into batter

Directions:
Buttermilk syrup:
½ cube butter (not margarine)
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. light corn syrup

Bring to a boil and take off heat. Add 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp. vanilla. It will bubble up quite a bit, so make sure you use a large enough pan to allow for this. Stir it until it settles.
