I tried this for family home evening treats a few weeks ago. It was great! I put it in the crock pot before dinner. We had dinner and family home evening and it was done. I also used 100% whole wheat - and my family didn't notice -because it was warm and sweet. This is the right size for our family for dessert - without leaving leftovers that their mom will snack on all day while others leave to work/school.
The food storage cans are too large for my crockpot. I have used a deep, round, glass pyrex dish that seemed to fit well and still leave room. Rebecca Child
