Kristy's mom made this salad for a wedding reception last weekend, and it was amazing!

1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped 1 head of iceburg lettuce, chopped 2 # of strawberries, sliced 1/2 package of shredded coconut 1 bag of sliced toffee almonds 1 bag of ginger garlic wonton strips 2 bunches of green onions, sliced Dressing: Make dressing ahead of time and chill 1 c honey 1/2 c rice vinegar (can use white if you don't have rice) 1 1/4 c best foods mayo 2 t dijon mustard 3/4 t sesame oil 1/2 t salt Directions: Mix the salad ingredients, except for the wonton strips, and chill until ready to serve. Mix the dressing ingredients together and chill. Add the wonton strips and dressing to salad just before serving and toss. (You will need about 1/2 of the dressing for the salad). |
