Grandma Bradley's Buttermilk Biscuits

1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Shortening the size of a large egg
Buttermilk


Cut the shortening in and add enough buttermilk to make moist, stiff dough. Turn out onto a floured board. Knead 10 times, then pat out to desired thickness. Cut and bake at 425 for 12 to 15 minutes.
